최상목 대통령 권한대행 경제부총리 겸 기획재정부 장관이 25일 "결국 기업 투자가 우리 경제 살길"이라며 "2008년 이후 17년 만에 해제할 수 있는 그린벨트 총면적을 확대하겠다"고 밝혔다.
최 권한대행은 이날 오전 서울 종로구 정부서울청사에서 열린 국정현안·경제관계장관회의에서 "새로운 환경에 맞춰 규제·지원 제도를 과감하게 개선하고, 특히 지역에서부터 변화를 이끌어 내겠다"고 했다.

최 대행은 "지역에서 중점 추진하고 있는 투자 프로젝트는 신속 진행될 수 있도록 밀착 지원하겠다"며 "추가적 지역 투자프로젝트를 속도감 있게 지원하기 위해 다음 달부터 '투자 익스프레스'를 본격 가동해 '4차 투자 활성화 대책'을 마련하겠다"고 밝혔다.
또 "인공지능(AI)·양자·바이오 등 12대 국가전략기술 보유 기업·스타트업 등 기술사업화 기업에 집중 투자할 계획"이라며 "2~4분기 내 펀드 투자방향·자펀드 운용사를 확정하고 조속히 투자 대상 기업을 선정해나가겠다"고 했다. 향후 정부는 1조 규모 과학기술혁신펀드 투자 대상도 선정한다.
