[브레이크뉴스=박찬호 기자] 경상남도선거관리위원회는 3월 5일 실시하는 제1회 전국동시새마을금고이사장선거에 있어 선거공보 등을 통해 허위사실을 공표한 혐의로 모 금고의 후보자 A 씨를 4일 경찰에 고발했다고 밝혔다.

경남선관위 관계자는 “선거일이 가까워질수록 불법 선거운동이 빈번하게 발생할 것으로 예상됨에 따라 단속활동에 총력을 기울이는 한편, 선거의 공정성을 해치는 허위사실 공표 등 중대선거범죄에 대해서는 엄중 조치하겠다”고 밝혔다.
