충남 부여군이 2030년 국가정원 지정을 목표로 '백마강 국가정원' 조성 사업을 본격화한다. 사업 대상지는 부여읍 군수리 백마강 일원으로, 약 130ha 규모로 조성될 예정이다.
군은 최근 열린 ‘백마강 국가정원 조성사업 기본 및 실시설계용역 중간보고회’를 통해 정원의 기본계획과 주요 공간 구성을 확정했다. 백마강 국가정원은 백제의 역사와 자연생태를 활용한 특화된 정원으로, 역사정원도시로서의 정체성을 부각할 계획이다.
