[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군은 개인정보 보호 강화 사업을 위해 디지털 저장매체 파기 장비를 도입하고 지난 17일부터 군민과 관내 기업을 대상으로 ‘무료 저장매체 파기 서비스’를 시행하고 있다.

‘디지털 저장매체 파기 서비스’는 견고한 소재로 만들어져 자체 파기가 어려운 저장매체를 파기 장비를 이용해 물리적으로 완전히 파쇄하는 서비스로 개인정보 유출 우려를 사전에 차단하고 군민의 불안감을 해소하기 위해 마련됐다.

파기가 가능한 저장매체는 하드디스크, SSD, USB, CD, 휴대폰 등이며 저장매체를 따로 분리해 가져와야 한다.
