[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시 ‘아빠랑 캠핑가자’ 프로그램이 인기를 끌고 있다.
시는 지난 22~23일과 오는 29~30일 2회에 걸쳐 가야테마파크 캠핑장에서 ‘아빠랑 캠핑가자’를 운영한다.
이번 캠프는 일과 육아를 병행하면서 직장 생활과 가사일에 지친 엄마들을 위해 아빠와 초등 자녀 단둘이 떠나는 캠핑 프로그램이다.
시민이 제안한 내용을 기반으로 김해시 여성가족과에서 주민참여예산으로 편성해 만든 프로그램이어서 의미를 더한다.
참가 대상은 김해시 거주 직장맘 가정으로 아빠와 초등학생 아이로 구성된 15팀(30명)이 참여해 △나만의 시그니처 향수 만들기 △전래놀이 강사와 함께하는 레크레이션 △캠핑장 체험 등 1박 2일 다양한 활동을 한다.
이번 프로그램은 김해시 공공예약포털 접수 개시 10초 만에 마감될 정도로 인기를 끌어 시는 하반기 9월 20~21일과 27~28일에도 추가 개최 계획이다.
캠프에서 한 아빠는 “아이와 함께 땀 흘리며 텐트를 설치하고 평소 하지 못했던 속 깊은 대화도 나눌 수 있는 행복한 시간이었다”며 “또래 아이를 둔 아빠들과 육아 고민뿐만 아니라 육아 노하우도 공유하면서 많은 도움을 얻을 수 있어 너무 만족스럽다”고 말했다.
김해시 관계자는 “엄마들의 육아 부담 해소뿐만 아니라 아빠들과 자녀들이 자연스럽게 친밀해져 행복한 가족문화라는 두 마리의 토끼를 잡는 성과를 기대한다”며 “육아 양성평등을 위해 함께 일하고 돌보는 환경 조성에 더 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.
