브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= KT는 경상도와 울산 지역에서 발생한 산불 피해 현장 복구와 피해 지역 주민들에 대한 지원이 신속하게 이뤄질 수 있도록 사회복지공동모금회에 성금 10억원을 기탁한다고 26일 밝혔다.
KT는 그룹 차원에서 성금과 별도로 산불 진화 현장의 소방대원과 공무원 등 관계자들을 위한 식사를 제공하고 스마트폰 충전소 운영, 구호 물품 전달 등 다양한 현장 지원 활동도 병행하고 있다.
KT 관계자는 “산불로 갑작스럽게 피해를 입은 지역 주민들에게 성금과 현장 지원 활동이 도움이 될 수 있기를 바란다”고 전했다.
