브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 넷마블과 계열사 코웨이는 대형 산불 피해 지역의 신속한 복구 및 이재민 지원을 위해 각각 2억5000만 원씩, 총 5억 원의 성금을 전국재해구호협회 희망브리지에 기부한다고 27일 밝혔다.
이번에 전달된 기부금은 특별재난지역으로 지정된 경북, 경남, 울산 지역의 피해 복구 및 이재민 지원을 위해 사용될 예정이다.
코웨이는 지난 26일부터 산불로 인해 파손된 자사 전 제품을 대상으로 무상 교체 및 AS서비스를 진행하고 있다.
넷마블 관계자는 “갑작스러운 산불로 피해를 입은 이재민 여러분께 깊은 위로의 마음을 전하며, 피해 지역이 하루빨리 복구되어 지역 주민들이 일상으로 돌아갈 수 있기를 바란다”고 말했다.
코웨이 관계자는 “산불로 어려움을 겪고 있는 이재민분들께 조금이나마 도움이 됐으면 하는 바람에 기부를 결정하게 됐다. 조속한 진압과 피해복구가 이뤄지길 기원한다”고 전했다.
