충남 논산시가 음식점의 위생 수준을 향상하고 소비자들에게 안전한 외식 환경을 제공하기 위해 ‘음식점 위생등급제’ 지정 업소 확대에 나선다.
음식점 위생등급제는 식품의약품안전처가 시행하는 제도로, 음식점의 위생 상태를 평가한 후 ‘매우 우수’, ‘우수’, ‘좋음’ 등 3개 등급으로 나누어 지정하는 제도다. 이를 통해 소비자들에게 신뢰할 수 있는 위생 정보를 제공하고, 업소의 자발적인 위생 관리 수준을 높이는 것이 목표다.
현재 논산시 내 위생등급 지정 음식점은 51곳으로, 등급 지정은 2년간 유효하다. 지정 업소에는 지정서 및 표지판 제공, 위생용품 지원, 2년간 출입 검사 면제(단, 민원 발생 또는 식중독 사고 시 제외) 등의 혜택이 주어진다.
또한, 위생등급 업소 정보는 식품의약품안전처 및 식품안전나라 누리집, 내손안 식품안전정보 앱, 배달앱 업소 정보 등을 통해 확인할 수 있다.
위생등급제 신청은 논산시 내 일반음식점, 휴게음식점, 제과점 영업자라면 누구나 가능하며, 식품안전나라 누리집 또는 논산시보건소 위생관리팀을 통해 접수할 수 있다.
