[노병한의 세상 읽기] 역사와 정의는 늘 승자의 편이다. 승자의 민심은 역사적인 경험칙이다. 헌재(憲裁)는 법리재판이 아닌 늘 정치재판의 경향성이 높은 곳이다. ‘대한민국은 민주공화국’이라는 헌법 제1조 ①항에 정한 바가 정답이다.
국민의힘 '보수우파진영'은 스스로 당을 말아 먹은 배신자와 역적들이 많은 전과당(前科黨)으로 전락했음이 여실히 드러났다. 국민의힘은 '대통령-자율파면당'이기에 차기 대통령을 배출할 자격이 일정 기간 없다고 봄이 국민의 일반적인 상식일 것이다.
박근혜 대통령의 탄핵 때도 협조하고, 윤석열 대통령의 탄핵 때도 협조한 자당(自黨)의 국회의원들이 있었다. 그래서 국회의 대통령의 ‘탄핵소추안 가결’이 가능했다. ‘2016년 12월 새누리당’과 ‘2024년 12월 국민의힘’이 8년 만에 다시 쓴 평행이론의 연속극 재방송인 셈이다.
국민의힘은 계파통합도 힘들고, ‘민주당의 이재명 체제’를 누를 힘도 없어 보여 무력함이 현실이다. 국민의힘이 2025년 6월 조기 대선(大選)에 내세울 후보단일화를 해도, ‘국민후보’를 내세우지 못하면 승산은 희미하다. 국민의힘 후보에겐 국물도 없다는 게 민심이다.
‘2025년 5월 1일~6월 2일’의 기간에 국민의힘은, 이재명 민주당 대표 관련 재판에서, 대법[선거법위반]의 파기환송이나 파기자판? 그리고 고법[위증교사]의 유죄 선고를 기대하고 있는 모양이다. 그러나 현실적으로 그 가능성은 극히 낮아 보인다. 기대하는 희망회로를 돌리는 건 자유다. 사법부의 합리적인 판단에 대한 기대를 접는 게 현명할지 모른다.
그러나 ‘민주당의 이재명 체제’는 늘어나는 부동층이 부담이고, ‘국민의힘은 국민후보를 내세울 수 있을지’ 의문이다. 자칫 국민의힘은 '영남자민련'이 될 개연성을 걱정하고 준비해야 할 때가 아닐까?
윤석열 전(前) 대통령은 계엄전(戒嚴戰)실패에 이어, 법률전(法律戰)패배로 ‘4·4파면’ 선고로 재구속을 대비해야 하는 처지에 놓였다. 한국 대통령중심제의 ‘불행의 역사가 반복’ 중인데, 과연 이대로 지속될 수밖에 없나 안타까울 뿐이다. nbh1010@naver.com
