[노병한의 정치풍향] 2025년은 한국이 정치적으로 가면을 벗는 ‘리더십 전환의 시대’로 보인다. 2025년 6월 3일에 치러질 조기 대선(大選)에 보수우파 일부 진영에서, 윤석열 전 대통령의 출마 요구가 있으나, 헌법재판소법 제54조 2항에 탄핵소추로 파면된 자는 5년간 공무원담임권이 제한되어 있으므로 이는 불가한 주장에 불과하다. 그렇다면 이를 대신할 카드는 없을까?
박근혜 전 대통령에게는 8년 전 2017년에 실추되었던 명예를 회복해야 할 숙명이 있다. 그는 8년간 거의 은둔에 가까운 세월은 보냈다. 한국에서 그가 가지고 있는 정치적인 상징성과 지지자들의 고도의 응집력을 갖춘 정치인을 찾아보기란 힘든 게 사실이다.

한국에서 2020년대에 대통령 배출의 연령대는 1960년대생이 시대정신이라 볼 수 있다. 그래서 2022년 3월 9일 대선(大選)에서 1960년생인 윤석열 대통령이 배출되었다.
그러나 ‘리더십 전환의 시대’에서는 대통령 배출의 연령대가 역행될 수도 있다. 1980년대엔 대통령 배출의 연령대가 1930년대생인 전두환과 노태우 대통령이었는데, 이어서 1990년대엔 대통령 배출의 연령대가 1920년대생인 김영삼과 김대중으로 연령대가 역행되었듯이 말이다. 이게 바로 ‘리더십 전환의 시대’에서 보일 수 있는 현상이다.
가령 2025년 6월 3일 조기 대선(大選)에서, ‘보수진영의 박근혜 대(對) 진보진영의 이재명’의 대결 구도가 펼쳐진다면 진정한 명승부가 펼쳐질 수도 있어 보인다. 그러나 이건 재미로 써보는 필자만의 ‘상상의 한 페이지’에 불과하다. nbh1010@naver.com
