충남 논산시가 9일 ‘2025년 지역일자리 목표 공시제’ 세부계획을 발표하고 본격적인 일자리 창출에 나섰다. 시는 오는 2025년까지 고용률 71.6%(15~64세 기준), 취업자 수 6만 6,100명, 일자리 7,900개 창출을 목표로 설정했다.
지역일자리 공시제는 고용노동부 주관으로, 지방자치단체가 지역 실정에 맞는 고용 전략과 목표를 수립해 주민에게 공개하는 제도다. 논산시는 이 계획을 통해 총 5대 핵심 전략과 32개 세부사업을 추진한다.
핵심 전략은 ▲미래 성장산업 육성 ▲취약계층 대상 일자리 창출 ▲청년 정착형 고용 창출 ▲생활 인프라 확충을 통한 '논산 일자리' 만들기 ▲시민 중심의 고용서비스 강화를 통한 미스매칭 해소 등이다.
시는 기업 유치를 적극 추진하는 한편, 산업단지 조성 및 기반시설 확충으로 기업하기 좋은 도시 환경을 조성할 계획이다. 또 지역 대학 및 교육기관과 협력해 현장 수요에 맞는 인재를 양성하고, 지역 기업과 인재 우선 채용 협약도 추진한다.
