[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군은 10일 승강기안전기술원에서 인도의 주차시스템 전문기업인 갤럭시 파킹 시스템즈와 수출 활성화 및 상호 협력 강화를 위한 양해각서를 체결했다.

이번 협약은 거창군, 승강기안전기술원, 거창승강기수출(주), 인도(India)의 갤럭시 파킹 시스템즈 등 4자 간 협약으로 진행됐으며, △수출 관련 행정적 지원 △승강기 안전 기술 정보 공유 △해외 진출을 희망하는 기업에 자문과 정보 제공 등 지역 강소기업의 해외 판로 확대와 수출 경쟁력 강화를 위한 협력체계 구축 내용을 담고 있다.

거창군은 이번 협약을 계기로 관내 우수기업들이 인도 시장을 중심으로 수출 거점을 확대할 수 있도록, 행정적·제도적 지원을 아끼지 않겠다는 입장이다. 

또한, 승강기안전기술원은 제품 인증 및 기술 검증 등 실질적 수출 기반 조성을 위한 기술적 역할을 수행할 계획이다.

구인모 군수는 “이번 MOU는 지역 승강기 기업의 세계 시장 진출 가능성을 확인한 의미 있는 계기”라며, “앞으로도 우수한 기술력과 성장 잠재력을 가진 지역 기업들이 해외 시장에서 실질적 성과를 거둘 수 있도록 다양한 지원을 펼쳐 나가겠다”라고 말했다.

한편, 거창승강기수출(주)의 참여기업인 GS파킹(대표 조수현)은 같은 날 인도의 갤럭시파킹시스템즈와 66만 달러 규모의 수출 계약을 체결하고, 향후 5년간 상호 국가 내에서 독점적 협력관계를 약속하는 MOU를 체결하여 인도 수출시장을 선제적으로 공략하는 교두보를 마련했다.

거창승강기베스트밸리에 소재한 GS파킹(주)은 이 협약을 계기로 자사가 보유한 주차시스템 기술을 인도의 신규 프로젝트에 적용하여, 인도 내 제조 아웃소싱 판매, 독점적 협력관계 구축, 기술 및 인적 자원 상호 교류 등으로 해외 수출시장에 대한 경쟁력을 크게 강화할 수 있을 것으로 기대하고 있다.
