마약류관리에관한법률 위반 혐의를 받는 이씨는 이날 오전 11시19분경 서울 서초구 서울중앙지법에서 심사를 마치고 나왔다.
그를 기다리던 취재진이 "대마 양성 반응 나왔는데 혐의 인정하나", "추가 마약 투약 있었나", "아내도 공범으로 조사받는 중인데 입장이 있나" 등의 질문을 던졌으나, 이씨는 아무런 답을 하지 않고 호송차에 탑승했다.
한편, 이씨는 지난해 10월 서울 서초구 주택가에서 이른바 ‘던지기’ 수법으로 액상 대마를 수령하다 적발됐다. 사건 당시 이씨는 배우자 A씨 등 2명과 렌터카를 타고 있던 것으로 조사됐다.
