충청남도교육청이 시행하는 2025년도 지방공무원 임용시험 원서접수가 마무리되면서 총 1488명이 지원한 것으로 집계됐다. 전체 171명 선발에 1488명이 지원해 평균 8.7대 1의 경쟁률을 기록한 가운데, 일부 직렬에는 지원자가 대거 몰리며 높은 경쟁률을 보였다.
가장 높은 경쟁률을 보인 직렬은 조리 9급으로, 11명 모집에 무려 164명이 지원해 14.9대 1을 나타냈다. 이어 식품위생 9급은 2명 선발에 29명이 접수해 14.5대 1, 보건 9급은 4명 선발에 57명이 지원해 14.3대 1의 경쟁률을 보였다.
교육행정 분야 역시 지원자들이 집중됐다. 교육행정 9급(1권역)은 32명 모집에 456명이 몰려 14.3대 1의 경쟁률을 보였으며, 2권역에서는 73명 정원에 489명이 지원해 6.7대 1의 경쟁률을 기록했다. 장애인 구분모집은 9명 선발에 10명이 지원해 1.1대 1, 저소득 구분모집은 2명 정원에 13명이 몰려 6.5대 1이었다.
기술직 및 기능직 직렬 중에서는 전산 9급 11.5대 1(2명 모집/23명 지원), 사서 9급 7.0대 1(6명 모집/42명 지원), 공업(기계) 2.0대 1, 공업(전기) 3.5대 1 등의 지원 양상이 나타났다.
이밖에도 기록연구사 8.5대 1, 시설관리 9.0대 1, 운전직 5.6대 1, 보훈추천 운전직은 1.0대 1로 정원과 동일 인원이 접수했다.
지원자의 연령대를 보면 20대가 절반 이상인 51.8%(771명)으로 가장 많았고, 30대가 24.4%(363명), 40대가 16.4%(244명), 50대 이상은 5.2%(78명), 20세 이하도 2.2%(32명)를 차지했다. 성별 분포는 여성 936명(62.9%), 남성 552명(37.1%)으로 나타나 여성의 비율이 상대적으로 높았다.
