‘함께한 100년, 함께할 100년’을 주제로 열리는 이번 행사는 ‘1일 1주제’ 방식으로 구성돼, 각기 다른 테마를 통해 다양한 세대와 계층이 함께할 수 있도록 기획됐다.

개막일인 25일에는 공식 기념식을 비롯해 감포항 100년을 조망하는 주제공연과 드론쇼가 펼쳐지며, 이찬원·이유리 등 인기가수들의 축하 무대도 예정돼 있다.
청년층을 위한 26일 ‘청년의 날’에는 방송인 박명수가 참여하는 EDM 파티와 유튜버 ‘춤추는 곰돌’의 K-POP 댄스 퍼포먼스 등 열정 가득한 무대가 마련된다.
이어 27일에는 마술쇼, 버스킹, 밴드 공연 등 가족 단위 관람객을 위한 문화 프로그램이 진행되고, 마지막 날인 28일에는 트롯가수 박서진을 비롯한 출연진이 효(孝)를 주제로 한 감동적인 무대를 선보인다.
행사 기간 동안 감포의 매력을 더할 다채로운 체험 콘텐츠도 함께 운영된다. 지역 특산물 판매존, 감포 사진전, 스탬프 투어, 맨손 활어잡기 체험, 미디어파사드, 유등 전시 등이 방문객을 맞이할 예정이다.
시는 행사 방문객들의 교통 편의를 위해 경주~감포 구간 시내버스를 증편 운행할 계획이다.
주낙영 경주시장은 “감포항은 지난 100년 동안 지역 해양경제의 핵심 거점 역할을 해온 상징적인 장소”라며 “이번 기념행사를 통해 감포항의 역사와 가치를 널리 알리고, 새로운 100년의 출발점이 되길 기대한다”고 밝혔다.
