금산군, 비호산근린공원에 '수관수막타워' 설치

충남 금산군이 산불 발생 시 초기 대응을 강화하기 위해 비호산근린공원에 수관수막타워를 설치했다. 

이 공원은 인근에 아파트, 금산다락원, 스포츠센터, 게이트볼장, 청산회관 등이 위치해 있어 주민들의 이용이 빈번하지만, 소방차의 접근이 어려운 좁은 진입로로 인해 산불 발생 시 큰 피해가 우려되던 지역이다.​

이번에 설치된 시설은 총 5기의 수관수막타워와 120톤의 물을 저장할 수 있는 물탱크로 구성되어 있으며, 원격제어시스템을 통해 보다 신속한 대응이 가능하다. 각 타워는 대형 스프링클러를 통해 반경 최대 40m까지 물을 분사할 수 있으며, 물탱크는 최대 40분간 분사가 가능한 양의 물을 보관한다.​
