필자는 원래 농부 출신이었다. 대대로 농사를 지어온 문씨(文氏) 집성촌에서 태어났다. 그러하니 100% 농부였다. 고등학교는 농고(전남 담양 농고)를 졸업했다. 대학(강남대학)에서는 신학을 전공(기독교 문학)했다. 농부 출신이 기자로 살아오면서, 삶의 반전(反轉)과정을 거치면서, 언론사 사주(社主)가 됐다. 주간신문-일간신문-인터넷신문 등의 언론사를 경영을 해왔다. 이번 글에서는 필자의 출생 인연-생존 과정에 따른 묵상(默想)이다.
필자가 콩트 쓰기를 좋아했던 이유
필자는 반전(反轉)을 좋아 한다. 영화의 스토리 전개 중엔 반드시 몇 번의 반전이 거듭된다. 그게 영화의 묘미다. 영화 시나리오 작법에는 반전(反轉)이 강조된다. 반전이 없으면 영화가 아니기 때문이다. 소설도 그렇다. 인생도 마찬가지이다. 반전(反轉)이 살맛을 나게 한다.
필자는 2000-2001년, 타블로이드 판형의 전국 일간 종합신문인 '일간 펜(펜 그리고 자유)'을 발행했었다. 신문 제작의 바쁜 일정 중에도, 매일 1편씩의 콩트를 창작, 일간신문에 연재했었다. 콩트엔 반전이 있어야 한다. 그게 좋아서 매일 한 편씩의 콩트를 썼었다. 그 콩트들을 모아, 2001년에 '깨가 쏟아지는 콩트(소설클럽)'라는 책을 발간, 독자와 만났었다.
세상의 일들은 늘 반전(反轉)한다. 반전, 또 반전이 있다. 나의 인생 속엔, 자주 반전이 있었다. 농부의 아들이 탈(脫) 농촌 했다. 인생 대 반전이었다. 빈손 잡이가 유력 주간신문의 편집국장을 거쳐 주간신문(주간현대, 사건의 내막) 발행인이 됐다. 주간신문사가 사옥을 장만했다. 주간신문 발행인이 전국지 일간 종합신문(일간 펜)의 발행인이 됐다.
한민족은 농경민족(農耕民族)이었다. 아주 긴 연륜, 생존의 기틀은 주로 농업(農業) 경작(耕作)이었다. 농토에서 벼, 보리, 밀을 재배해왔다. 또는 고구마, 감자를 가꿔왔다. 그리고 배추, 무, 파, 마늘, 고추 등 야채를 생산해왔다. 소, 닭, 돼지, 개, 염소 등의 가축들을 사육했었다.
식물-동물들과 더불어 살아왔다. 식물을 재배해왔다. 물을 요리했다. 땅을 경작했다. 동물들과 어울려 살았다. 천지-자연의 비밀을 다룰 줄 알았다.

자연과 밀착되어 자연 속에서 자연과 함께 생존해왔다. 자연 속의 삶이란, 생명존중의 삶이랄 수 있다. 자연의 질서에 순응하면서 자연을 장악해왔다. 그곳에 인간생명 영존(永存)의 비밀이 있다. 자연 다룸은 곧 예술이었다. 자연과 더불어 살아옴은 곧 자연문화의 창조였다. 자연 속에서 씨를 뿌리고 가꾸고 거둠에는 필히 때가 있었다. 그러하니, 한민족 모두는 때를 아는 민족의 후손인 셈이다.
민족내전(1950-1953) 이후 남한은 압축(壓縮) 성장, 선진국 대열에 진입했다. 농경민족의 후예가 지닌 장점이 만들어낸 위대한 개가(凱歌)라 할 수 있다. 수 천 년 자연에 순응하면서 자연을 지배해오면서 축적한 지식(知識)과 지혜(知慧)의 덕분이다.
지금은 미래 비전을 따질 때이다. 첨단 기술의 시대를 살고 있기 때문이다. 인터넷 세상-AI(인공지능) 세상, 우주시대(인공위성)를 살고 있다.
현재-미래시대는 ‘상상현실불이(像想現實不二=상상과 현실이 둘이 아닌 하나)”의 시대이다.
자연에 순응, 자연과 함께 살아온 한민족의 미래는 웅대(雄大)-창성(昌盛)하리라 예상한다.
나의 삶 속에는 이처럼, 자주 반전-또 반전이 지속됐다. 일간신문 발행인이 인터넷 신문 초기에 인터넷신문(브레이크뉴스)의 발행인이 됐다. 반전(反轉)의 연속이었다. 나의 미래...또 다른 반전을 도모하련다. moonilsuk@naver.com

As a farmer living as a journalist, he went through a process of reversal in his life and became the owner of a media company. He has managed media companies such as weekly newspapers, daily newspapers, and online newspapers. This article is a meditation on the author's birth and survival process.
Why I Liked Writing Contests
I like twists. There are always several twists during the story development of a movie. That is the charm of a movie. Contests are emphasized in movie script writing. This is because without them, it is not a movie. The same goes for novels. The same goes for life. Contests make life more enjoyable.
In 2000-2001, I published a national daily tabloid newspaper called 'Daily Pen (Pen and Freedom)'. Even during my busy schedule of producing newspapers, I wrote one contest every day and serialized it in the daily newspaper. Contests need to have twists. I liked that, so I wrote one contest every day. I collected those contests and published a book called 'Contests That Pour Tears (Novel Club)' in 2001, and met with readers.
Things in the world always have twists. There are twists, and more twists. There have been many twists and turns in my life. A farmer's son left the countryside. It was a great twist in my life. A person who had nothing but money became the editor-in-chief of a major weekly newspaper and then the publisher of a weekly newspaper (Weekly Hyundai, Inside Story of the Incident). The weekly newspaper company purchased its own building. The publisher of the weekly newspaper became the publisher of a national daily newspaper (Daily Pen).
The Korean people were an agricultural people. With a very long history, the foundation of their survival was mainly agriculture and cultivation. They grew rice, barley, and wheat on their farmland. Or they grew sweet potatoes and potatoes. And they produced vegetables such as cabbage, radish, green onion, garlic, and peppers. They raised livestock such as cows, chickens, pigs, dogs, and goats.

It is thanks to the knowledge and wisdom accumulated while conforming to nature and dominating it for thousands of years.
Now is the time to consider a vision for the future. This is because we live in an era of advanced technology. Internet world-AI (Artificial Intelligence) world, we live in the space age (artificial satellite).
The present-future era is the era of “Imagination and Reality are not two but one.”
I expect the future of the Korean people who have adapted to nature and lived together with nature to be magnificent (雄大) and prosperous (昌盛).
In my life, there have been many twists and turns like this. The publisher of a daily newspaper became the publisher of an internet newspaper (Break News) in the early days of internet newspapers.
