충남 예산군이 지역 청소년의 삶의 질을 높이고 미래지향적인 정책 수립을 위해 본격적인 연구에 착수했다.
군은 지난 28일 예산군청 중회의실에서 ‘청소년정책 기본계획 수립을 위한 연구용역 착수보고회’를 열고, 청소년 정책의 새로운 방향 설정에 나섰다고 29일 밝혔다.
이날 보고회에는 김택중 부군수를 비롯해 관련 부서장, 예산교육지원청 관계자, 청소년복지재단 소속 기관 담당자, 학부모 및 청소년 대표 등 20여 명이 참석해 청소년 정책 전반에 대한 논의가 이뤄졌다.
연구용역은 급변하는 사회 환경 속에서 청소년들이 마주하는 현실을 반영하고, 학교 안팎의 모든 청소년이 체감할 수 있는 실효성 높은 정책을 개발하는 데 초점을 두고 있다. 특히 지역 내 청소년 환경에 대한 면밀한 분석과 더불어 청소년복지재단의 역할을 재정립하는 과정을 통해, 중장기적인 정책 로드맵을 수립할 계획이다.
착수보고회에서는 연구진이 과업의 추진 배경과 방향성, 연구 범위, 조사 방법 등을 설명했으며, 이어진 질의응답 시간에는 참석자들로부터 다양한 의견과 정책 제안이 제시됐다. 현장의 생생한 목소리를 반영해 보다 실질적인 정책 설계가 가능할 것으로 기대된다.
