충남 서산시가 다가오는 제103회 어린이날을 맞아 서산버드랜드에서 어린이와 가족 모두가 함께 즐길 수 있는 풍성하고 다채로운 특별 프로그램을 마련했다.
이번 특별 프로그램은 5월 3일부터 5일까지 사흘간 서산버드랜드 일원에서 진행되며. 가족 체험을 중심으로 구성된 이번 행사에는 총 20여 개의 흥미로운 프로그램이 방문객들을 기다린다.
프로그램은 크게 네 가지 분야로 나뉘어 운영된다. 첫째, '공연' 분야에서는 중국 상하이극장의 어린이 마술쇼와 국내 유명 마술사인 도재혁 마술사의 신기한 매직 콘서트가 펼쳐져 어린이들의 상상력을 자극할 예정이다.
둘째, '생태체험' 분야에서는 귀여운 앵무새와 직접 교감하는 체험과 천수만의 소중한 생태 가치를 직접 느껴볼 수 있는 갯벌 체험이 마련되어 자연과의 교감 체험.
셋째, '어린이 놀이' 분야에서는 아이들이 마음껏 뛰어놀 수 있는 에어바운스와 바이킹, 좋아하는 캐릭터와 사진을 찍을 수 있는 인형탈 포토존, 예쁜 그림을 얼굴에 그리는 페이스페인팅, 달콤한 솜사탕 체험 등이 어린이 놀이터에서 운영되어 즐거움을 더한다.
넷째, '주민 참여' 분야에서는 창의력을 발휘할 수 있는 다양한 만들기 체험이 준비되었다. 천수만 천연 기념물 만들기, 예쁜 깃털 가면 만들기, 귀여운 모루 인형 만들기, 나만의 키링 만들기 등 여러 가지 재료를 활용하여 특별한 기념품을 만들 수 있다.
이와 더불어, 오는 11월 1일부터 2일까지 서산버드랜드에서 개최될 예정인 제14회 아시아 조류박람회를 미리 홍보하는 손거울·열쇠고리 만들기 체험도 함께 진행되어 행사의 의미를 더하고 있다.
심영복 서산버드랜드사업소장은 "미래의 주역인 어린이들이 서산버드랜드에서 행복하고 즐거운 추억을 만들 수 있도록 만반의 준비를 다했다"며, 많은 관심과 방문을 당부했다.
