충남 논산시가 오는 5월 9일부터 6월 4일까지 관내 1020가구를 대상으로 ‘2025년 충남사회조사’를 시행한다.
이번 조사는 충청남도와 논산시가 공동으로 추진하는 지역 통계사업으로, 주민 삶의 전반을 다각적으로 진단해 정책 수립의 근거자료로 삼기 위한 목적이다.
조사는 「통계법」 제18조에 따라 매년 정기적으로 진행되는 국가승인통계로, 건강, 가족 구성, 교육, 고용, 소득·소비, 주거환경 등 개인의 생활 전반에 관한 다양한 항목을 포함한다. 올해는 충청남도 공통 항목 49개와 함께 논산시 특성을 반영한 문항 11개가 추가돼 총 60문항으로 구성됐다.
표본으로 선정된 가구에는 전문 통계조사원이 직접 방문해 면접 방식으로 설문을 진행할 예정이며, 대면이 부담스러운 가구를 위해 비대면 온라인 참여도 가능하다. 인터넷 조사는 5월 9일부터 20일까지 충청남도 사회조사 전용 홈페이지에서 참여할 수 있다.
시 관계자는 “이번 조사는 지역사회의 사회적 흐름을 수치와 실태로 파악해 실질적인 정책으로 연결하기 위한 핵심 기초자료”라며 “정확하고 충실한 응답이 논산시민의 삶의 질을 향상시키는 초석이 되는 만큼 대상 가구의 자발적이고 성실한 참여를 바란다”고 전했다.
한편, 충남사회조사는 조사결과를 토대로 복지, 교육, 주거환경 개선 등 다방면의 지역정책 수립에 활용되며, 주민 체감도 높은 행정 서비스 구현에도 큰 역할을 하고 있다.
