브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 국민의힘 대선 경선에서 탈락 후 정계은퇴를 선언했던 홍준표 전 대구시장이 김문수 대선후보 캠프 상임선대위원장직을 수락했다.
김문수 후보 캠프는 9일 "김문수 후보는 홍준표 전 대구시장을 중앙선대위 상임선대위원장으로 임명했다"고 공지했다.
이날 캠프에 따르면 홍준표 전 시장은 오는 10일 미국으로 출국할 계획이었으나, 김문수 대선후보의 선거 승리를 위해 상임선대위원장을 수락했다.
한편, 홍준표 전 시장은 한덕수 무소속 예비후보와 김문수 대선후보에게 단일화를 압박 중인 권영세 비상대책위원장과 권성동 원내대표를 신랄하게 비판해왔다.
홍 전 시장은 지난 8일 페이스북에서 "3년 전 두 놈이 윤석열을 데리고 올 때부터 당에 망조가 들더니 또다시 엉뚱한 짓으로 당이 수렁으로 빠진다"고 말했다.
또한 9일 페이스북에선 한덕수 예비후보를 향해 "저렇게 허욕에 들떠 탐욕만 부리다가 퇴장당하면 남는 건 추함뿐"이라고 꼬집었다.
