세종시가 2026년도 국가예산 확보를 위한 본격적인 행보에 나섰다.
세종시에 다르면 21일 기획재정부가 주관한 ‘지방재정협의회’에 참석해 행정수도 완성을 중심으로 교통, 문화, 생태, 보안 등 주요 현안 사업들에 대한 국비 지원을 적극 요청했다고 밝혔다.
지방재정협의회는 중앙과 지방 간 예산 협력 강화를 위한 자리로, 이날 회의에는 이승원 경제부시장을 비롯해 이용일 기획조정실장, 관계 부서장들이 참석해 기획재정부 예산실 및 사업 담당자들과 면담을 진행했다.
세종시는 국회세종의사당과 대통령 제2집무실의 단계적 이전을 포함한 행정수도 완성 로드맵을 차질 없이 추진하기 위해 관련 예산 확보의 중요성을 강조했다.
