충남 계룡시가 제24회 식품안전의 날을 기념해 실시된 ‘2025년 식품안전관리 평가’에서 충청남도 내 최우수 지자체로 선정되며 도지사 표창을 수상했다.
이번 평가는 충남 15개 시·군을 대상으로 식품안전관리 전반을 종합적으로 진단한 것으로, 계룡시는 각 항목에서 고른 성과를 거두며 모범 사례로 주목받았다.
도는 이번 평가에서 '직무교육 이수율, 현장보고장비 활용률, 위해식품 회수 실적, 소비자식품위생감시원 활동지수, 식품위생업소 점검 및 위반사항 적발률, 민원 기한 내 처리율' 등 다양한 지표를 기준으로 각 지자체의 식품안전관리 역량을 정량적으로 비교 분석했다.
시는 특히 직무교육 이수율과 현장보고장비 활용률, 이물질 신고 처리 기한 준수율, 그리고 민원 응대의 신속성과 정확성 측면에서 높은 평가를 받으며 타 시·군과의 격차를 확연히 드러냈다. 이러한 결과는 평소 일상적인 위생 점검과 교육 체계 강화가 실효를 거두고 있음을 방증한다.
