이날 수여식은 한국장학재단 서울사무소에서 한국장학재단 고영종 성장이사 및 최성원 인재육성장학부장, 우미희망재단 이춘석 사무국장, 그리고 장학생들이 참석한 가운데 진행됐다. 이번 장학금은 산업재해 근로자 가정의 대학생과 저소득층 1인 가구 대학생에게 생활비 및 주거비를 지원하여 학업에 전념할 수 있도록 돕는 데 사용될 예정이다. 우미희망재단은 지난해에 이어 올해도 50명의 대학생에게 각 500만 원씩 총 3억 원을 기부하며 꾸준한 나눔의 정신을 보여주고 있다.

Deeply empathizing with this need, Woomee Hope Foundation (Chairman Lee Seok-jun), in partnership with the Korea Student Aid Foundation (Chairman Bae Byeong-il), held the 'Blue Lantern Woomee Hope Foundation Donation Scholarship Certificate Award Ceremony,' delivering a total of 300 million won in scholarships and illuminating a warm light of hope.
The award ceremony took place at the Korea Student Aid Foundation's Seoul office, attended by Ko Young-jong, Growth Director, and Choi Seong-won, Head of Talent Development and Scholarship Department from the Korea Student Aid Foundation, Lee Chun-seok, Secretary-General of Woomee Hope Foundation, and the scholarship recipients. This scholarship fund will be used to support the living and housing expenses of university students from industrial accident worker families and low-income single-person household university students, enabling them to focus on their studies. Following last year's initiative, the Woomee Hope Foundation is once again donating 300 million won this year, with 5 million won allocated to each of 50 university students, demonstrating a consistent spirit of giving.
The Woomee Hope Foundation, a public interest corporation established in 2006 by Woomee Construction, serves as a prime example of a company striving for social value creation beyond mere profit pursuit.
