삼성증권이 자사 모바일앱 ‘엠팝(mPOP)’을 대대적으로 개편하며, 국내주식 투자자들의 트레이딩 효율을 한층 끌어올린다.
이번 개편의 핵심은 '호가주문' 기능과 '실시간 랭킹' 메뉴의 전면 업그레이드다. 고빈도 거래에 익숙한 투자자들에게 특히 반가운 변화다.
기존에는 매수·매도·정정·취소 주문을 각각의 화면으로 이동하며 입력해야 했지만, 새롭게 개선된 ‘호가주문’ 기능은 이 과정을 통합했다. 미리 주문 수량을 설정해둔 상태에서 호가창에서 단순히 버튼만 눌러도 거래가 이뤄진다. 실시간 시세를 보며 한 화면에서 빠르고 직관적인 매매가 가능해진 셈이다.
또한 현재가 화면에서는 캔들 차트, 호가, 당일 등락률, 거래량 등 실시간 시세 정보가 한눈에 들어오고, 미체결 내역과 당일 손익도 함께 조회할 수 있어 투자 판단에 유용하다. 여기에 호가별 잔량을 보여주는 그래프, 보유 종목의 평균 매입단가, 주요 지지·저항선, 체결 강도 등 다양한 보조지표도 추가돼 보다 정교한 트레이딩 전략 수립이 가능하다.
정보 접근성도 강화됐다. mPOP의 ‘실시간 랭킹’ 기능은 이제 관심종목 화면 상단에서 바로 확인할 수 있다. 이전처럼 메뉴를 여러 단계 거칠 필요 없이 클릭 한 번으로 삼성증권 고객들이 주로 거래하는 종목이나 인기 검색 종목을 즉시 확인할 수 있다.
랭킹은 국내외로 나뉘어 제공된다. 국내 주식의 경우 ▲상한가·하한가 ▲상승률·하락률 상위 종목 등을 보여주며, 해외 랭킹에서는 전일 대비 변동폭이 큰 종목, 거래량과 거래대금이 많은 종목을 한눈에 비교해볼 수 있다.
삼성증권 관계자는 “이번 개편은 실전 투자에 나서는 고객들이 더 빠르고 효율적으로 의사결정을 할 수 있도록 돕는 데 중점을 뒀다”며 “앞으로도 고객의 실제 사용 패턴을 분석해 지속적으로 기능을 개선해 나갈 것”이라고 밝혔다.

Samsung Securities is set to greatly enhance the trading efficiency of domestic stock investors by undertaking a major reorganization of its mobile app, 'mPOP'.
The core of this reorganization is the complete upgrade of the 'bid order' function and the 'real-time ranking' menu. This change will be particularly welcomed by investors accustomed to high-frequency trading.
Previously, buy, sell, amendment, and cancellation orders had to be entered by navigating to separate screens. However, the newly improved 'bid order' function integrates this process. Once the order quantity is set, transactions can be executed simply by pressing a button on the bid window. This allows for fast and intuitive trading on a single screen while viewing real-time prices.
Furthermore, the current price screen provides real-time market information at a glance, including candlestick charts, bid prices, daily fluctuation rates, and trading volumes. Unsettled details and daily profit/loss can also be viewed together, which is useful for investment decisions. Additionally, various auxiliary indicators have been added, such as graphs showing remaining quantities by bid price, average purchase price of held stocks, key support/resistance lines, and execution strength, enabling more precise trading strategy formulation.
Information accessibility has also been strengthened. mPOP's 'real-time ranking' feature can now be checked directly at the top of the watchlist screen. There's no longer a need to navigate through multiple menu steps as before; with a single click, users can immediately check stocks frequently traded by Samsung Securities customers or popular search terms.
Rankings are provided separately for domestic and international markets. For domestic stocks, users can see top gainers/losers, and stocks with the highest/lowest increase/decrease rates. For international rankings, users can compare at a glance stocks with large fluctuations compared to the previous day, as well as those with high trading volumes and values.
A Samsung Securities official stated, "This reorganization focused on helping customers engage in practical investing make faster and more efficient decisions. We will continue to improve functions by analyzing customers' actual usage patterns."
