여수엑스포 아트갤러리에서 강홍구 작가 개인전 '무인도'를 내달 5일부터 8월 17일까지 전시한다.

강홍구 작가는 전남 신안에서 태어나 목포교육대학교를 졸업한 뒤 홍익대학교 회화과와동 대학원에서 수학했다. 국공립미술관과 주요 전시 공간에서 활발히 활동해왔으며 최근에는 서울시립 미술아카이브에서 대규모 개인전을 선보인 바 있다.
