의대 증원에 반발하며 병원을 떠난 전공의 일부가 1년여 만에 복귀해 수련 및 진료에 돌입할 수 있게 됐다.
전북대학교병원은 최근 실시한 전공의 추가모집 결과, 총 39명의 전공의가 복귀했다고 30일 밝혔다.
이에 따라, 오는 6월 1일자로 수련을 재개하고 진료 현장에 즉시 투입될 예정이다.
전북대병원은 추가 모집을 통해 정형외과와 영상의학과는 전공의 전원이 복귀해 해당 진료과의 정상 운영이 가능해졌다.
응급의학과 등 필수 진료과도 공백 해소에 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.
