브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 국민의힘은 2일 세계 3대 투자자로 불리는 짐 로저스 로저스홀딩스 회장이 이재명 더불어민주당 대선 후보에 대한 지지 선언을 한 적이 없다고 주장한 것과 관련 "이재명 후보는 국제사기 대선 후보, 보이스피싱 대선 후보라고 봐야 할 것"이라고 비난했다.
장동혁 선대위 상황실장은 이날 오전 국회에서 기자회견을 열고 "전 국민이 국제적 망신을 당하게 됐고, 국제사회에서 대한민국의 신뢰가 추락했다"며 이같이 말했다.
장 실장은 "이 후보의 이론을 빌린다면 짐 로저스 회장이 지지하지는 않았지만 결국 뭔가 활기가 돌긴 돌았으니까 아무 문제 없는 것인가"라며 "금융시장을 교란하는 심각한 행위이기도 하다. 주식시장을 교란하기 위한 조직적 행위가 아닌지 의심되고 반드시 수사가 필요하다"고 주장했다.
이어 "이 후보가 주가 코스피 5000을 공약으로 내걸었는데, 이런 식으로 5000을 공약한 것인가"라며 "고질적이고 상습적인 민주당의 충격 이슈 조작 프로젝트이고, 민주당의 조작 DNA가 발로된 것"이라고 꼬집었다.

그는 또한 "배후도 의심스럽다. 기자회견을 열었던 이재강 의원은 지금 이재명 선대본부에서 국제협력단장을 맡고 있고, 전 평화부지사였다"라며 "여기에 관여된 김진향씨는 개성공단 이사장을 하다가 지난 대선에서 이재명 캠프에 들어갔다. 지금은 촛불행동공동대표를 맡고 있고, 국가보안법 폐지를 주장하고 있다"고 말했다.

한편, 민주당 선대위 총괄선대본부 국제협력단 공동단장인 이재강 의원은 지난달 29일 기자회견을 열고 '짐 로저스 회장이 이 후보에 대한 지지 선언을 했다'는 취지로 주장한 바 있다.
