세종시교육청 '2025 중등 기초학력 지도 전문성 강화 직무연수'가 지난 30일 마무리됐다.
시 교육청 교육원에 따르면 이번 연수는 초ㆍ중등 현장 교원들의 기초학력과 느린학습자(경계선 지능 학생)에 대한 이해를 높이고 느린학습자를 효과적으로 지원하기 위해 마련됐다.
연수는 초기문해력ㆍ수리력 등 기초학력 개념 이해 ,학생의 학습 도움닫기점 진단 ,맞춤형 개별화 지도의 실제 ,느린학습자를 위한 학습코칭 등 실질적이고 현장 적용 가능한 내용으로 구성돼 초등·중등 교사 40여명의 참여자들이 높은 관심을 가졌다.
초등교사 대상 연수는 수리력 학습격차를 줄이기 위한 일상 수업 개선과 초기문해력ㆍ수리력 방과후 개별화 지도를 위한 진단과 실제 지도 방법 습득에 중점을 뒀다.
또, 중등교사 대상 연수는 경계선 지능 학생 등 학습자 맞춤형 지도를 위한 학습 코칭, 학급 중심형 기초학력 향상 프로젝트 등 함께하는 성장을 집중적으로 다뤄, 교원이 느린학습자를 위한 통합적 지원 역량을 강화할 수 있도록 했다.
우태제 세종교육원장은 “이번 직무연수를 통해 교원들이 학습에 어려움을 겪는 학생들에게 더욱 효과적인 지원을 할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.”며 “앞으로도 세종교육원은 기초학력 보장을 위한 교원의 전문성 강화와 학교 교육력 제고를 위해 질높은 교원연수를 운영하겠다.”고 말했다.
