브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= MBC는 3일 제21대 대통령 선거에서 이재명 더불어민주당 대선후보의 당선이 유력하다고 발표했다.
MBC는 이날 대선 개표 방송 중 당선예측 시스템인 '적중 2025'에서 개표가 약 20% 가량 진행되고 있는 시점에 이재명 후보의 당선 확률을 97.6%로 예측했다면서 당선이 유력하다고 밝혔다.
이 방송은 당선 예측 시스템이 역대 대선 중 단 한번도 틀린 적이 없다면서 신뢰도가 높다고 강조했다. 예측시스템은 출구조사와 개표 상황 등을 종합적으로 분석해 예측한다고 부연하기도 했다.
한편, 이날 투표 마감 직후 발표한 지상파 방송 3사 'MBC·KBS·SBS' 출구조사에서도 이재명 후보는 1위를 기록했다. 출구조사 결과 이재명 후보는 51.7%, 김문수 국민의힘 후보 39.3%, 이준석 개혁신당 후보 7.7%로 집계됐다.
