여름 성수기를 앞두고 충남 서천군이 춘장대해수욕장 운영 준비에 본격 돌입했다.
군은 지난 5일 군청 상황실에서 ‘서천군 해수욕장협의회’를 열고, 올해 해수욕장 운영 전반에 대한 점검과 안전대책 마련에 머리를 맞댔다.
이날 회의에는 김기웅 서천군수를 비롯해 김영돈 서천경찰서장, 한상규 보령해양경찰서장, 김희규 서천소방서장, 황성오 대산지방해양수산청장, 육군 제8361부대 7해안감시기동대대 관계자 등 유관기관 인사들이 한자리에 모였다. 또한 김진현 춘장대해수욕장 운영협의회장과 탁순옥 춘장대리 이장도 참석해 지역사회의 협력 방안에 대해서도 논의했다.
군은 올해 해수욕장 운영 기간을 예년보다 일주일 늘려 7월 5일부터 8월 17일까지 총 44일간 운영할 계획이다. 해수욕장 이용 시간은 오전 9시부터 오후 7시까지로 지난해와 동일하다.
