‘2025 태안 방문의 해’ 맞아 7년 만에 전국 바다낚시대회 개최

‘2025 태안 방문의 해’를 맞아 충남 태안군에서 전국의 강태공들이 대거 참여하는 바다낚시대회가 7년 만에 다시 열린다.

태안군은 오는 6월 14일 근흥면 정죽리 안흥항 일원에서 ‘제15회 태안군수배 전국바다낚시대회’를 개최한다고 밝혔다. 

지난 2018년 제14회 대회 이후 코로나19 등으로 열리지 못하다가 올해 태안 방문의 해를 맞아 전격 재개되는 행사다. 전국바다낚시대회 추진위원회가 주관하는 이번 대회는 ‘바다낚시의 메카’ 태안의 매력을 널리 알리고 관광객 유치 및 지역경제 활성화를 도모하기 위해 마련되었다.

이번 대회에는 지난달까지 진행된 참가자 접수를 통해 총 350명이 신청서를 제출하며 뜨거운 관심을 보였다. 대회는 14일 오전 4시 출항신고 및 안전점검을 시작으로 오후 3시 30분까지 이어지며, 종료 후에는 어종 출품, 심사, 초청가수 공연 등이 진행된 후 시상식이 열릴 예정이다.

출품 어종은 우럭, 광어, 놀래미 및 기타 어종이며, 어종별 길이(체장)에 따라 1위 100만 원 상당, 2위 70만 원 상당, 3위 50만 원 상당의 시상품과 트로피가 수여된다. 

특히 대상(우럭) 수상자에게는 300만 원 상당의 시상품 및 트로피가 주어지며, 최대어상, 이벤트상, 특별상 등 다양한 시상이 준비되어 있습니다. 각 선박별 1위에게도 시상품이 전달될 계획이다.

태안군은 이번 대회가 안전하게 치러질 수 있도록 준비에 만전을 기하는 한편, 추후 개최 예정인 신진도 오징어 축제(8월) 및 백사장 대하축제(10월)와도 연계하여 태안 수산물의 우수성을 홍보할 방침이다.

태안군 관계자는 “모래와 뻘이 적절히 섞인 태안의 해저는 우럭, 놀래미, 광어 등이 서식하기 좋아 바다낚시 최적지로 손꼽힌다”며 “7년 만에 재개되는 이번 대회가 성공적으로 개최될 수 있도록 관계기관과 함께 적극 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
