김 의원은 11일, 오후 국회 소통관에서 시민단체 '국민의힘해체행동'이 주최한 기자회견에서 "내란 수괴 윤석열의 정당인 국민의힘의 정당 해산 사유는 이미 차고 넘치며 국민의 요구 또한 명확하다"고 밝혔다.
그는 "작년 12월 7일 국민의힘 소속 국회의원들은 윤석열 전 대통령 탄핵소추안 표결에서 조직적으로 의결정족수를 방해하며 국민 주권 원칙을 스스로 훼손했다"며 "이는 명백한 내란 방조 행위"라고 주장했다.
