브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 이스라엘이 13일(현지 시간) 이란 수도 테헤란 등 수십 곳을 공습하고 있다는 외신 보도가 나왔다.
뉴욕타임스(NYT) 등은 테헤란 시간 기준 이날 오전 3시30분경 "테헤란에서 창문이 흔들리고 땅이 흔들리는 연이은 폭발음이 보고됐다"고 보도했다.
카츠 이스라엘 국방장관도 이날 공습 직후 "이란에 대한 선제공격을 개시했다"면서 "이란 전역의 핵 프로그램과 기타 군사시설 관련 목표물 수십 개를 공격하고 있다"고 밝혔다. 작전명은 '사자들의 나라'다.
이란 역시 대규모 반격에 나선 것으로 보인다.
이란 정부 고위 관계자는 "테헤란이 공격받았다"며 "이란 전투기들이 이륙했고, 이스라엘 전투기들이 이란을 공격하고 있다"고 전했다.
또한 이란 공습 직후 이스라엘 전역에서도 공습경보가 울리는 등 특별비상사태를 선포된 것으로 알려졌다.

Foreign media outlets reported that Israel was conducting airstrikes on dozens of sites including the Iranian capital Tehran on the 13th (local time).
