(양평=브레이크뉴스 경기동북부)하인규 기자=양평군(군수 전진선)은 지난 16일 구리시 수택 2동 지역사회보장협의체(공동위원장 표영실, 김명기)가 양평군을 방문해 민관협력 우수사례를 공유하는 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌다고 밝혔다.
이번 방문은 양평군 12개 읍·면에서 추진 중인 특화사업과 운영 활성화 우수사례를 공유하며, 상호 간 사회복지 업무의 견문을 넓히고 역량을 강화하기 위한 목적으로 마련됐다.
수택 2동 협의체 위원과 공무원 등 20여 명은 양평군 보훈회관 4층 다목적실에서 양평군의 민관협력 추진 사례를 비롯해 자원관리, 복지 사각지대 발굴 및 특화사업 등에 대해 설명을 듣고, 질의응답 시간을 가졌다.
이은주 복지정책과장은 “양평군 읍면 지역특성에 맞춘 특화사업과 우수사례를 알릴 수 있는 값진 시간이었다”며 “앞으로도 어려운 이웃의 든든한 버팀목이 될 수 있도록 양평군이 지역사회보장협의체와 더욱 노력하겠다“고 말했다.
김명기 수택 2동 지역사회보장협의체 민간위원장은 “이번 벤치마킹을 통해 지역사회보장협의체가 지역의 복지 문제를 스스로 해결할 수 있는 중추적인 역할을 수행하는 구심체가 되어 지역주민들의 복지 체감도를 높일 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
