브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 서민금융진흥원은 1일부터 11일까지 청년도약계좌 7월 가입신청을 받는다고 밝혔다.
청년도약계좌는 청년의 중장기 자산형성 지원을 돕는 정책금융상품으로, 만기 5년 동안 매월 70만원 한도 내에서 자유롭게 납입하면 정부가 월 납입분에 대해 정부기여금을 추가로 지급한다.
이를 일반적금 금리로 환산하면, 연 최대 9.54%에 달하는 금리효과가 있다.
매월 신청기간에 국민·신한·하나·우리·농협·기업·부산·iM뱅크·광주·전북·경남은행 등 취급은행 앱을 통해 신청할 수 있다.
신청 후 가입요건 확인 절차를 거쳐야 계좌를 개설할 수 있다. 이번에 가입대상으로 안내받은 1인가구는 다음달 17일부터 오는 8월 8일까지, 2인 이상 가구는 다음 달 28일부터 오는 8월 8일까지 계좌를 개설할 수 있다.
청년도약계좌는 지금까지 누적 335만3000명이 가입 신청을 했으며 212만6000명이 계좌를 개설했다.
