충남 금산군이 지역 내 소비 촉진과 소상공인 지원 강화를 위해 ‘금산사랑상품권’ 정책을 대폭 손질한다.
군은 7월 1일부터 모바일 및 카드형 상품권 사용 시 적용되는 캐시백 혜택을 기존 5%에서 10%로 상향하고, 개인당 구매 한도 역시 월 70만 원에서 100만 원으로 확대한다고 밝혔다.
이로써 소비자는 월 최대 10만 원까지 캐시백을 돌려받을 수 있게 됐다. 단, 지류형(종이형) 상품권은 이번 캐시백 인상 대상에서 제외된다.
이번 개편은 장기화되는 경기침체 속에서 지역 자영업자와 소비자 모두에게 실질적인 도움을 주기 위한 조치다. 군은 혜택 확대와 더불어 상품권 가맹점도 추가 모집해 유통 기반을 강화한다는 방침이다.
현재 금산사랑상품권 가맹점은 약 2,800개소로, 군은 연말까지 이 숫자를 3,000개 이상으로 늘릴 계획이다.
신규 가맹을 원하는 사업자는 사업자등록증과 본인 명의 통장(농협, 신협, 새마을금고)을 지참해 금산군청 경제과에 방문 신청하면 된다.
박범인 금산군수는 “금산사랑상품권 캐시백 혜택 확대로 지역제가 활성화되길 기대한다”며 “장기적 경기침체로 어려운 소상공인을 위한 정책을 지속적으로 마련해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
금산군은 앞으로도 사용자 편의성과 가맹점의 운영 효율성을 높이기 위한 정책적 지원을 지속하며, 지역 상권의 자생력 확보에 주력할 계획이다.
