충남 부여군(군수 박정현)이 고향사랑기부제를 통해 폭력 피해 여성 보호와 취약계층 청소년 지원에 나선다.
군은 7월 1일부터 ‘2025년 고향사랑기금 사업’의 지정기부 모금을 본격 시작한다고 밝혔다. 앞서 3~4월 동안 진행한 ‘고향사랑기금 사업 발굴 챌린지’를 통해 총 15개 사업이 제안됐으며, 군 기금운용심의위원회의 심의를 거쳐 2개의 지정기부사업과 5개의 일반기부사업이 최종 선정됐다.
이번 지정기부사업 중 가장 주목되는 것은 ‘폭력 피해 여성 긴급피난처 설치 사업’이다. 가정폭력, 성폭력, 성매매 피해 또는 가출 등으로 위기 상황에 처한 여성과 동반 자녀에게 안전한 임시 거처를 제공하는 것이 핵심이다.
현재 부여군에는 여성 긴급피난처가 없어, 피해가 발생할 경우 인근 공주시로 피해자를 연계하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 따라 군은 고향사랑기부제를 통해 자체 보호 시설을 마련하고자 나섰다.

두 번째 지정기부사업은 ‘취약계층 청소년 반찬 및 생활용품 배달 지원’이다. 위기 상황에 놓인 청소년 30명을 대상으로 매달 두 차례씩 반찬과 위생용품을 전달하는 내용이다.
이번 사업은 2024년 부여군 청소년상담복지센터가 400만 원의 예산으로 24명의 청소년을 지원했던 기존 사업의 확대판이다. 당시 큰 호응을 얻었던 만큼, 군은 대상자 수를 늘리고 지원 내용을 강화했다. 이번 모금 목표액은 7,080만 원이다.
이번에 함께 선정된 일반기부사업은 모두 5건으로 '6·25 참전유공자 장수사진 촬영 지원', '청소년 역사문화 교류', '진로 체험 지원센터 박람회 개최', '반려동물 등록비 지원', '청소년 국외 교류 활동 지원 사업' 등이다.
