다름을 이해하고 존중하는 교육이 교실을 넘어 논산지역 공동체로 확장되고 있다.
성광온누리학교(교장 이종권)는 지난 1일, 본교에서 노성중학교 1학년 학생들과 함께하는 통합교육 프로그램을 열어, 다양한 배경의 학생들이 교류하며 배려와 소통의 가치를 직접 체험하는 시간을 가졌다고 밝혔다.
이날 행사는 특수교육과 일반교육 간의 장벽을 낮추고, 학생 상호 간의 이해와 공감을 촉진하기 위한 목적으로 기획됐다. 참가 학생들은 2교시에 서로를 처음으로 만나 소개하는 시간을 가지며 어색함을 누그러뜨렸고, 성광온누리학교 시설을 함께 둘러보며 자연스럽게 친밀감을 쌓았다.
3교시에는 본격적인 공동 활동이 이어졌다. 학생들은 3D 펜을 활용한 키링 만들기와 생활과학 체험 프로그램에 참여하며, 협업과 의사소통의 중요성을 몸소 느꼈다. 실습 중심의 활동 속에서 학생들은 서로의 차이를 넘어 하나의 팀으로 어우러지는 경험을 공유했다.
프로그램에 참여한 학생들은 “우리가 다르지 않다”, “함께해서 즐거웠다”는 소감을 남기며, 이번 만남이 단순한 체험을 넘어 서로를 이해하고 존중하는 계기가 되었음을 표현했다.
