[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] (사)한국후계농업경영인거창군연합회(회장 이주영, 이하 한농연)는 지난 1일 거창스포츠파크 실내체육관에서 구인모 거창군수, 이재운 거창군의회 의장을 비롯한 군의원, 기관단체장, 한농연 회원 등 450여 명이 참석한 가운데 제35회 한농연 회원가족체육대회를 개최했다.
이번 행사는 우수회원들에 대한 시상식을 시작으로, 체육대회와 단합행사가 이어지며 회원 간 결속을 다지는 화합의 장이 마련됐다.
시상식에서는 지역 농업 발전에 헌신한 공로로 정종재, 이성대, 이우경 회원에게 군수 표창패가 수여됐으며, 한농연 중앙연합회장상 등 부문별 29점의 시상이 있었다.
아울러 한농연거창군연합회는 이번 체육대회를 통해 아림1004운동에 100만 4,000원을 기부하며 지역사회 나눔에도 동참했다.
이주영 회장은 대회사에서 “현재 농업이 여러 어려움에 직면해 있지만, 현장을 지키는 한농연 회원들의 노고에 감사드린다”며 “앞으로도 지혜롭게 위기를 극복해 나가는 선도농업인으로의 역할을 기대한다”고 말했다.
구인모 군수도 축사를 통해 “제35회 한농연 회원가족체육대회 개최를 축하드린다. 농업과 농촌이 경쟁력을 갖추고 사람이 돌아오는 희망의 농촌을 만들어 가는데 지원을 이어가겠다”고 밝혔다.
