(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천서부소방서가 지난 8일 오후 1시 30분께 수도권제2순환고속도로 지하차도 내 트럭 적재함에서 화재가 발생해 운전자가 소화기로 진화를 시도했으며 소방대가 완진했다고 밝혔다.
서부소방서에 따르면 운전자는 적재함에서 발생한 화염을 발견하고 차량 내 비치된 소화기를 이용해 초기 진화에 나섰으며, 소방대가 도착할 때까지 화재 확산 방지를 위해 적극적으로 대응했다.
그 직후 도착한 소방대는 옥내소화전을 활용해 완전 진화했으며 안전조치했다.
이 화재로 인명 피해는 없었으나 연기로 인해 지하차도 통행이 전면 통제되기도 했다.
