(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 계양구가 10일, 정서 및 행동문제를 겪는 아동·청소년의 조기 발견과 치료를 돕기 위해 부모 지원 사업을 운영하고 있다고 밝혔다.
계양구에 따르면, 정서장애나 주의력결핍과잉행동장애(ADHD)를 지닌 아동·청소년은 또래에 비해 의사소통 경직, 공감능력 부족, 과잉행동 등의 특성이 나타날 수 있다.
이로 인한 사회적 관계성 형성 등에 어려움이 발생할 수 있어, 가정 내 관심과 조기 대응이 매우 중요하다.
이에, 계양구 정신건강복지센터는 지역 학부모를 대상으로 소아정신건강의학과 전문의를 초청해 총 3회에 걸쳐 부모교육을 추진하고 있다.
첫 번째 교육은 지난 7월 3일 계양구청 신비홀에서 진행됐으며, 메티스신경정신과 백형태 대표원장이 ‘감정 조절이 안 되는 우리 아이 이해하기’를 주제로 강의했다. 교육에 참여한 주민들은 “실질적인 사례를 통해 강의해 주셔서 자녀를 이해하는데 많은 도움이 됐다.”, “자녀 행동에 대한 이해가 높아졌다.”고 호응했다.
향후 교육은 9월 18일, 11월 27일 진행될 예정이며, 관심 있는 학부모 누구나 참여할 수 있다.
