(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시가 14일, 여름방학을 맞아 온 가족이 함께 참여할 수 있는 통일 문화체험 ‘인천에서 통일을 만나다’를 인천통일플러스센터(연수구 송도동 소재)에서 운영한다고 밝혔다.
인천시에 따르면, ‘인천에서 통일을 만나다’는 다양한 체험 프로그램을 통해 통일과 평화의 중요성에 대해 자연스럽게 공감할 수 있도록 마련된 행사다.
온 가족이 함께 통일열차 블록을 조립하며 통일 이후 기차를 타고 유라시아 횡단여행을 할 수 있는 미래를 상상해 보고, 인천시와 통일 캐릭터 모양의 장식 크림(아이싱) 쿠키를 만들며 인천 속 통일의 의미를 되새기는 시간을 가진다.
모든 프로그램은 무료로 제공되며, 참가 신청은 7월 14일 오전 10시부터 인천통일플러스센터 공식 블로그에서 가능하다.

유준호 시 정책기획관은 “인천 시민들이 일상생활 속에서 통일과 평화라는 주제를 친숙하게 느낄 수 있도록, 앞으로도 더욱 다양한 통일 문화행사와 체험활동 프로그램들을 추진해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편, 인천통일플러스센터에서는 같은 기간 동안 성인 대상으로, 통일에 대한 이야기를 들으며 테라리움(유리병 정원), 해수욕장 양초 등을 만들 수 있는 공방체험 ‘내 손으로 만드는 남북공방 통일솜씨 플러스’도 같이 운영하고 있으며 이 역시 인천통일플러스센터 블로그에서 신청 가능하다.
