aT, 여름 대비 배추.무 가격안정사업 본격 추진

(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 한국농수산식품유통공사(이하 aT)가 7월부터 10월까지 이어지는 여름철 배추와 무 가격 안정을 위해 총 7만 2000톤 규모의 ‘채소가격안정지원사업’을 추진한다고 밝혔다.

aT에 따르면, ‘채소가격안정지원사업’은 산지유통인에게 일정 수준의 가격을 보장하는 대신 수급 조절 의무를 부여해 생산·유통 현장에서 자율적이고 선제적인 수급 안정 체계를 구축하는 민간 협력 수급 안정 사업으로 가격 보존을 위한 사업비는 시장 수급과 가격 상황에 따라 차등 지급된다.

aT는 배추 4만 2000톤, 무 3만 톤을 대상으로 채소가격안정지원사업을 추진한다. 

특히, 배추는 생산량 감소가 예상됨에 따라 당초 계획보다 7000톤을 늘려 대응력을 강화했다. 

이번 사업을 통해 여름철 기상이변 등으로 배추·무의 가격 변동성에 대비할 수 있는 기반을 사전에 마련하겠다는 방침이다.

문인철 aT 수급이사는 “국민 밥상물가와 밀접한 배추·무의 수급 안정을 위해, 생산·유통 현장과 긴밀히 협력하며 생산자와 소비자 모두가 체감할 수 있는 안정적인 수급 환경을 조성하겠다”고 말했다.
