(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천해양경찰서가 지난 15일 청사 대회의실에서 지역연안사고예방협의회 정기회의를 실시했다고 밝혔다.
인천해경에 따르면, 이번 회의는 관내 연안사고를 예방하기 위해 주요 관계기관과 연안 안전관리 대책을 논의하고 협업체계를 구축하기 위해 마련됐다.
인천해경을 비롯해 인천 중·남동·서구, 강화·옹진군과 경기 시흥시 등 지자체와 영종·송도·중부·강화소방서, 인천해역방어사령부, 육군 17사단 3경비단 등 13개 기관이 참여했다.
이들은 회의에서 연안사고 원인을 분석하고, 기관별 주요 연안 안전관리 추진 정책을 공유했다. 또 안전관리시설물 신규 설치 및 보수, 연안사고 예방을 위한 협의 및 건의사항 등을 논의했다.
이광진 서장은 “연안에서 인명 등의 피해를 예방하기 위해서는 지자체 및 관계기관 간 협력이 필수적”이라며 “해양안전사고 예방 및 신속한 대응을 위해 지속적으로 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
