금산군, 라오스 '계절근로자' 22명 입국

충남 금산군이 라오스 지방정부와의 국제협력 사업을 통해 초청한 외국인 계절근로자 22명이 지난 15일 무사히 입국해 관내 농가에 배치됐다.

이번 입국은 금산군이 추진 중인 외국인 계절근로자 도입 사업의 일환으로, 만성적인 농촌 인력난 해소에 실질적인 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다. 근로자 인계는 금산세계인삼엑스포 주차장에서 진행됐으며, 총 10개 농가에 인력이 지원됐다. 이들은 금산군이 법무부로부터 배정받은 2025년도 하반기 계절근로자 총 236명 중 일부다.

입국 직후, 근로자들은 천안우리병원에서 마약 검사를 받은 뒤, 아산시 선문대학교에서 열린 오리엔테이션에 참석했다. 오리엔테이션에서는 한국 농촌 생활에 필요한 기본 규범과 생활 정보를 교육받았으며, 대한결핵협회 대전세종충남지부의 주관으로 결핵 검진도 함께 실시돼 위생과 건강 관리에도 철저를 기했다.
