논산계룡교육지원청(교육장 박양훈)이 지난 16일 백제종합병원과 업무협약을 체결하며, 특수교육대상학생에 대한 진단과 교육지원의 전문성을 높이기 위한 지역 연계체계를 본격 가동한다.
이번 협약은 특수교육대상학생을 보다 이른 시기에 발견하고, 정밀한 진단과 평가를 바탕으로 개인별 특성에 맞춘 교육계획을 수립하는 데 목표를 두고 있다. 특히 교육과 의료가 유기적으로 협력함으로써 학생과 보호자 모두에게 실질적인 도움을 줄 수 있는 기반을 마련했다는 점에서 의미가 깊다.
