(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천 서구가 21일부터 오는 8월 6일까지 17일간 ‘서해구, 청라구’(가나다순)를 후보로 최종 구 명칭 선호도 조사를 실시한다고 밝혔다.
서구에 따르면, 이번 조사는 지난 4월, 26일간 진행된 온·오프라인 주민의견수렴 결과와 6월 4개 권역 주민설명회 개최 등 충분한 숙의 과정을 거쳐 마련되었으며 전문여론조사기관을 통한 전화면접조사 방식으로 진행된다.
조사 대상은 행정체제 개편 후 분리되는 서구 18세 이상 주민 2,000명이며, 행정안전부 인구 통계 비율에 맞게 할당(동별, 성별, 연령별)하여 유선전화(20%)와 무선전화(80%) 병행 조사 방식으로 무작위 실시되며 여론조사가 진행되는 발신번호는 ‘02-6974-4000’이다.
한편, 서구는 여론조사 홍보와 명칭변경 공감대 확산을 위해 7월 28일부터 30일까지 행정체제개편 후 서구 지역 전 세대를 대상으로 안내문을 발송할 계획이다.
