공단은 근로자의 안전을 위해 ‘폭염 단계별 행동 요령’을 수립하고 폭염대비 일일예보 안내, 적절한 휴식시간 부여, 옥외작업 제한 등 다양한 혹서기 산재예방 활동을 진행하고 있다.
특히, 공단은 30일 건설현장 근로자를 위한 ‘찾아가는 커피차’ 를 지원하면서 감사와 응원의 메시지를 전달했다.
조성돈 한국원자력환경공단 이사장은 “공단은 앞으로도 근로자와 국민의 건강을 최우선으로 생각하여 유해·위험요소를 제거하고, 더욱 안전한 사업장을 만들기 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
