교육부가 지자체와 협력해 설치하는 '2025년 학교복합시설 2차 공모사업' 심사 결과를 6일 발표한 가운데 전북 김제시가 최종 선정됐다.
전북교육청은 '김제 금구초ㆍ중학교 학교복합시설(이하 김제 학교복합시설)' 2025년 학교복합시설 2차 공모사업에 선정돼 120억 원(국비 60억 원 포함)을 확보했다고 밝혔다.
김제 학교복합시설은 이번 공모 신청 우수사례로도 선정됐다.
학교복합시설은 교육환경 및 정주 여건 개선을 위해 학생과 지역주민이 함께 이용할 수 있도록 학교ㆍ교육청ㆍ지자체 등이 협력해 설치하는 ▲ 교육 ▲ 문화 ▲ 체육 ▲ 복지시설이다.
